Church Council Meeting
There will be a Church Council meeting on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:00 p.m. All Church Council members are asked to attend.
Bible Study
For the next few Wednesday's, our Bible Study topics will be on: Love, Sex and Relationships. On December 10th, our topic will be "It's Not Your Fault"; and on December 17th, "Help, I am in Lust". These studies are based on the teachings of Pastor R. A. Vernon, Senior Pastor of the Word Church.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion will be next Sunday, December 14th, during the morning worship service. If you will not be in attendance, please contact your Deacon or the Church Office at (254) 634-1013. Deacons, Deaconess, Leaders and members, please wear your royal blue jackets with black underpinning.
Annual Youth Christmas Program: A Candy Cane Christmas
The Annual Youth Christmas Program will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to come and celebrate the season and our youth!!! POC is Sis. S. Johnson.
Annual Holiday Fellowship Meal
The Annual Holiday Fellowship Meal will be after Worship Service on Sunday, December 14th in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome!!!. Members are asked to bring desserts (i.e. pies, cakes, cookies, etc.). POC is Deaconess D. Whitfield.
PPBC Ladies and Girls: Let's Sweater Together!!!
On Saturaday, December 20th, PPBC Women and Girls are invited to a Christmas Social at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall as we celebrate the greatest Gift of all!!! Wear your holiday sweater or holiday colors and please bring a wrapped/bagged gift (no more than $10.00) for the Exchange Game.
Holiday Assistance
Please consider helping families in need celebrate Christmas by adding additional funds and notating 'Holiday Assistance' on your PPBC's Offering Envelope.
Watch Night Service
On Wednesday, December 31st, at 10:00 p.m., please join us for Watch Night Service as we bring bid farewell to 2025 and step into 2026 together!!!
The Pershing Park Christmas Card Mailbox is Open!!!
If you'd like to send a Christmas card to a PPBC member, no need to use a stamp! Simply place the card in our Christmas Card Mailbox located in the foyer. Please be sure to check weekly for your cards!!
Energy Bill Assistance
There are applications for the Energy Bill Assistance Program for low income families available in the Administration Office. If you feel you may qualify, please complete the application. The government will cover one year of your energy bills if you are approved..
Men of the Park--Bread Ministry Volunteers Needed
We are seeking brothers who would like to assist with the Bread Ministry. If you are interested in helping, please let Pastor Johnson or Minister Parks know so we can provide the information and procedures required for this important ministry. Thank you for your willingness to serve.

Youth Scholarship Information!
The Third Sundays are our Youth Scholarship Sundays!!! If you'd like to support the PPBC Scholarship Fund, please indicate "Scholarship Fund" on a blank line of your church envelope and include your donation.
Emergency Gift Card Program
Benevolent Funds facilitates a Gift Card Program. Please donate funds so that $20.00 HEB Gift Cards may be purchased to assist PPBC and community members. Please place your donations in the offering envelope and write "Gift Card" on the line. POC Minister Booker.
Handicapped Seating
Reserved seating is provided for our members/guests using walkers and wheelchairs so that they may be placed next to their seat. Please do not seat in those seats if you are not disabled. Thank you.

Girls in Action
Girls in Action (Grades 1-6 grade) meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
CHILDREN/YOUTH CHOIR
Sister Gladys Jones invites children (5-12 years old) to join the PPBC Youth Choir. Practice will be on the first and third Saturdays, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. For more information, contact Sister G. Jones!!!
Nursery and Pre-School Parents!!!
